Many access problems are caused by incompatible browsers and firewall configurations. Please be sure you have checked the following:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher), Firefox 1.0.7 (or higher), Chrome 4.1 (on any platform), and Safari 4 (on Windows PCs and on Mac OS 10.4 or higher). Note: AOL and SBC browsers must be minimized so that you can use IE or Netscape. See browser requirements for individual databases.
• Cookies and Java Script are enabled.
• All popup blockers are disabled.
• Library staff have checked that their firewalls and servers are properly configured. See Firewall and Server requirements for individual databases.
