About findIT CT

findIT CT is Connecticut's statewide library catalog. The first version of the catalog went live in May 2016. requestIT CT, the ILL service in findIT began rolling out statewide in September 2017. findIT CT and requestIT CT use FulfILLment open source software.

Networks and standalone libraries can upload their holdings to the statewide catalog on a regular basis.  Once a library successfully uploads their holdings for the first time, the system can then automatically load records as often as the library is able to send them.  Many libraries have been sending holdings on a monthly basis to be current in findIT, which is the base catalog for the requestIT statewide interlibrary loan service.


findIT CT is funded by the State of Connecticut and the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered by the Connecticut State Library.
