The Andover Probate District was constituted June 27, 1851, from the Hebron Probate District. It served the municipalities of Andover, Bolton, and Columbia. At one time it also served the town of Eastford, May 1847 - June 20, 1849. The Andover Probate District merged on January 5, 2011 with the Manchester Probate District to create the Greater Manchester Probate District, which now serves the municipalities of Andover, Bolton, Columbia, and Manchester.

Ansonia has been served by the Derby Probate Court from its incorporation. The Derby Probate Court was constituted June 19, 1850, from the New Haven Probate District. On January 5, 2011 the Derby Probate District merged with the Woodbridge Probate District and now serves the municipalities of Ansonia, Derby, Seymour, and Woodbridge.

The Ashford Probate District was constituted June 4, 1830, from the Pomfret Probate District. The Ashford Probate District merged on January 5, 2011 with the Brooklyn, Eastford (part), Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson, and Woodstock Probate Districts to create the Northeast Probate District. The Northeast Probate District serves the municipalities of Ashford, Brooklyn, Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson, and Woodstock.

The Avon Probate District was constituted May 1844, from the Farmington Probate District. The Avon Probate District merged on January 5, 2011 with the Canton, Granby, and Simsbury Probate Districts to create the Simsbury Regional Probate District which serves the municipalities of Avon, Canton, Granby, and Simsbury.

The Barkhamsted Probate District was constituted June 5, 1825, from the New Hartford Probate District. The Barkhamsted Probate District merged January 7, 2003 with the Hartland and New Hartford Probate Districts to form a single New Hartford Probate District. The New Hartford Probate District merged on January 5, 2011 with the Torrington and Winchester Probate District to create the Torrington Area Probate District which serves the municipalities of Barkhamsted, Colebrook, Goshen, Hartland, New Hartford, Torrington, and Winchester.

The Naugatuck Probate District, constituted July 4, 1863, from the Waterbury Probate District, has processed probate matters for the Town of Beacon Falls from its incorporation. The Naugatuck Probate District serves the municipalities of Beacon Falls, Middlebury, Naugatuck, and Prospect.

The Berlin Probate Court was constituted June 2, 1824 from the Farmington, Hartford, and Middletown Probate Districts and has processed probate matters for the City of New Britain from its incorporation. The Berlin Probate District presently serves the municipalities of Berlin and New Britain. Though it is named for the town of Berlin, the Berlin Probate Court sits in New Britain.
