The Office of State Ethics, part of the Office of Government Accountability, enforces the state's code of ethics and laws related to the conduct of public officials, state employees, lobbyists, and state contractors. It issues advisory opinions and declaratory rulings that interpret the Code of Ethics, and institutes enforcement actions for violations of the Code of Ethics.
