We maintain and provide access to a comprehensive collection of legal publications. This includes material on state and federal statutes and regulations, court decisions, and a wide variety of modern and historical legal periodicals and treatises. The Law & Legislation unit is also home to the official transcripts, legislative bill files, and legislative histories of the Connecticut General Assembly. Our reference staff assists members of the public, students, state employees, attorneys, and others in their legal and legislative research in person, over the phone, and via chat or email.
