The Connecticut Pickle Law: Fact or Fiction?

Over the years, patrons have asked us about the Connecticut law stating that a true pickle must bounce. This legend has appeared in many books and websites. Though there is no law that specifically states this, there are several statutes, regulations, and articles that address the incident of the pickles that did not bounce.
