MISSION: The Child Emergency Preparedness Committee (CEPC) is a subcommittee of the Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security (DEMHS) Statewide Emergency Management and Homeland Security Advisory Council. CEPC’s primary purpose is to make recommendations to the Advisory Council and the Deputy Commissioner of DESPP/DEMHS with regard to the development and implementation of statewide strategic planning and guidance related to children in emergencies.
