While more and more libraries have gained knowledge about the role of digital navigation in closing the digital divide, disseminating your experience to the library community remains very important. - July 25, 2024: Panel participation at “Digital Divide/Digital Equity,” part of the series “CTRL+SHIFT DEMOCRACY: A Limited Series Exploring the Impact of Technology on Society and Governance” at the Old State House, Hartford CT.
- September 19, 2024: Panel presentation on “IMLS LG-254838-OLS-23: Designing and Implementing a Replicable Regional Digital Navigator Sharing Plan.” The panel was part of “State Perspectives: Lightning Talks” in the section on Digital Inclusion during the Institute of Museum and Library Services Grants to States Annual Conference held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- September 26, 2024: “Designing and Implementing a Regional Navigator Sharing Plan,” a presentation at the COSLINE Annual Conference which held in Concord, New Hampshire.
- October 7, 2024: “Connecticut State Library to Launch New Digital Equity Pilot Project; IMLS Grant Helps Seven Public Libraries Narrow the Digital Divide,” Press Conference, CT State Library and collaborators from 7 public libraries and their community partners, Monday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Haven Free Public Library, New Haven CT.
- October 21, 2024: Presentation “Planning a Regional Digital Navigator Sharing Project Anchored by Public Libraries,” at the New England Library Association Annual Conference in Portland, Maine.
