Welcome: Library Services to Multilingual Communities in Connecticut

Resources for providing library services to multilingual communities

Welcome - E-mail Discussion List

Librarians and people serving multilingual communities in Connecticut are cordially invited to join Welcome's e-mail discussion list for Connecticut library staff serving multilingual populations. The purpose of the list is to foster discussion and the sharing of ideas and resources among library staff trying to reach non-English speakers in their communities. Please join us as we explore ways to make our libraries more welcoming to all members of our communities.

How to subscribe to the Welcome e-mail list:

Send an email message to listserv@list.ct.gov, leave the subject line blank, type “subscribe csl-welcome” without quotes in the body of the message, and send it. You will receive a message when the list owner subscribes you to the list.

If you have any questions or comments, e-mail the list manager, Ashley Sklar, ashley.sklar@ct.gov

Once subscribed you will be able to post messages to: csl-welcome@list.ct.gov. Those messages will go to all the people already subscribed to the list.
