1. Marian Anderson and the DAR-They are looking at the DAR mission and how it differs in the Northern and the Southern chapters concerning the equality issue.
2. Tomstad Gunvald -  A double agent spy during WWII, for the Norwegian Resistance and the British SIS.  Credited with helping to sink the Bismark.    Kris
3. Itzhak Pearlman - Triumphs over polio and a champion for Disability accessibility and music education.
4. The tragedy of the lack of Titanic Lifeboats and the call for new safety regulations   
   1. Jenny found a bunch on the Titanic and lifeboat laws/regulations in the Serial Set. Nancy mentioned a Connecticut connection. Does anyone want to take that aspect – H&G? or should I learn about CT and Titanic?
5. The Triumphs and Tragedies of John Lennon
6.  Sting of the WASP's: Women Pilots in WWII-An exhibit highlighting and analyzing the triumphs made and tragedies endured by civilian women in the air force who became known as the WASPs.  Jenny has some federal resources. Do H&G folks know if there is a Connecticut connection to include? Carolyn mentioned looking into CT aspect
7. Amputation and Infection during the Civil War   Kris. I called the page “Civil War Medicine” in the guide. That way Clara Barton, a popular topic, could be in the same place. Please note that the project on Civil War amputations is not the same project as the Civil War medicines that is listed below
8. BAT BOMB - Project X-ray, scrapped WWII super weapon using weaponized bats  Kris
9. The Delegates Moral Dilemma Addressing Slavery When Writing the United States Constitution  
10. The Battle of Saratoga – Jenny did some research on Benedict Arnold in the past and might still have some info. – especially the memorial to his leg. Also – the Norwich middle school had someone doing Benedict Arnold.
11. Jumbo the Elephant; The Fight for Performing Animal Rights
12. The Triumphant Standoff of the American Tin Can Sailors in the WWII Battle Off Samar-Our documentary is about how the American Tin Can Sailors held off against the Japanese army for eight hours during the battle off Samar.
13. The Revolutionary Battle of Groton Heights – H&G?
14. The New York Orphan Asylum, Eliza's Story- Creating the first orphanage in NYC. First child welfare program  Jerry
