With the Google Translate App, take photos of signs and translate them, use voice translate capabilities by entering text or speaking into the device, and translate typed text. The app was a 2018 "Best Apps for Teaching & Learning," and it is available for multiple operating systems.

Welcome is a discussion group for Connecticut library staff serving multilingual populations. The group is facilitated by Steve Cauffman and Maria Bernier from the Division of Library Development at the Connecticut State Library.
