With libraries closed and staff working remotely or in library, this is a great time to catch up with continuing education / professional development opportunities.  See below resources that are available to library staff as well as these new offerings in response to COVID-19.

NEW!! Through April the CT State Library Division of Library Development is pleased to offer a suite of library tutorials in its Connecticut State Library Academy through Niche Academy.  The default view shows All Tutorials, but you can click the various categories set up to narrow down what you are interested in learning.  Enjoy!

Includes full access to digitized editions of their entire magazine archives including the latest issue.   Go to homepage and click on "Access Digitized Edition" in upper left corner.  For return visits click on Bookshelf in upper right.  

Lyrasis - Through April 17 you can have free access to Lyrasis Learning education platform.  Click here for the class catalog.

WebJunction Free Training available through their course catalog and archived webinar recordings. WebJunction is offering a free online instructor-led course beginning April 6 in partnership with the Legal Services Corporation called Creating Pathways to Civil Legal Justice.  This course will increase staff knowledge in directing library customers to relevant helpful civil legal information and services.
