Towards Inclusive Accessibility in Libraries (TIAL) Partners with the CT Age Well Collaborative
With the recently announced launch of Towards Inclusive Accessibility in Libraries (TIAL), we are thrilled to be sharing our new partnership with the Connecticut Age Well Collaborative! We are especially pleased to be introducing this work during October’s Disability Awareness Month (nationally celebrated as National Disability Employment Awareness Month).
The CT State Library Division of Library Development and the CT Age Well Collaborative are partnering to create library staff trainings to support aging, disability, and dementia inclusivity. To inform our work and prioritize training topics, we invite library staff from all levels and positions to complete our short – six questions! – survey on key training needs for age and ability inclusion. Your input is valued and needed!

The Connecticut Age Well Collaborative presents a summary report of key themes gathered through the survey of library employees and other stakeholders and propose training content and schedule recommendations in this one-hour virtual kick-off event for Connecticut library staff.
