Purpose: To help librarians find a way to address complex community issues and form meaningful partnerships, with a focus on poverty

Grant Funding Amount: $3,000

Key Elements: 2.5 day intensive in-person seminar with virtual follow-up meetings; expert speakers; poverty simulation exercise; panel of librarians and community partners; empathy training; train-the-trainer model; presentation skills; facilitation skills

Target Audience: Outreach-focused library staff and their community partners
