Project Name: Bridge Stories: Connecting community one person at a time
Purpose: To give Milford residents a safe space to share their stories and build new relationships while expressing their uniqueness.
Grant Funding Amount: $1,800
Key Elements:
- Quarterly story sharing events
- Volunteer recorders will capture the stories and photograph interviewees
- Four stories chosen each time to highlight
- Large posters displayed in Library
- Posters shared on social media, library website, newspapers
- Gathered in permanent book to be made available at the library

Community Support: Milford Public Schools, Literacy Volunteers of Southern Connecticut, Friends of the Milford Library
Use of grant funds: marketing materials, poster holders, sandwich board, digital cameras and audio recording devices
