Project Name: Adulting 101

Purpose: To provide social and learning connections for new adults, who may be feeling lonely and insecure in new environments and life situations.

Grant Funding Amount: $3,000

Key Elements: Interactive, conversational workshops on a variety of subjects; shared experiences; social connections with new people; bring a friend; comfy, informal space; open to shared intergenerational experience

Target Audience: Young adults, ages 23-29

Community Support: Local businesses such as Soapstone Valley Equipment Repair, United Bank, Big Y, Wells Fargo, Wallace and Tetreault Realty

Use of grant funds: Paid instructors, signage, program materials, comfortable seating
