Project Name: TEAM UP (Tools to Engage and Activate Meaningful University Partnerships)
Purpose: Connect students to Bryant University faculty and staff to learn skills to increase the effectiveness of working on teams at Bryant and eliminate frustration by adding a crucial element—joy!
Grant Funding Amount: $3,000
Key Elements: Digital badging, peer mentors, tie in to course assignments, faculty buy-in, celebrations, prizes. Kick-off in March and celebration in May.
Target Audience: Bryant students who have team project assignments
Community Support: Academic Affairs, Athletics department, Student Affairs, University Relations
Use of grant funds: Branding the program, whiteboards, puzzles, equipment, training, staffing
Why:
- Student teams now are frustrated by uneven workloads and a lack of communication among team members.
