The CT State Library is pleased to offer a 3-day virtual professional development opportunity.

The Connecticut State Library Division of Library Development's Transformation for Libraries: The Futures School is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services grant #RE-250063-OLS-21 in the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program.

Sarah Fuller, Senior Program Officer at IMLS, referred to the program as “a game changer for librarians."

Who Should Attend?

Individual library staff from academic, public, school, and special libraries are invited to attend.

Daily Schedule

You must be able to commit to the full 3-day program. Please note all sessions are virtual. Each day we will join together for the following

  • 8:30 am - 12 pm | Morning Session
  • 12 - 1:30 pm | Break
  • 1:30 - 5 pm | Afternoon Session

There will be a unique Zoom link for each morning and afternoon session.

It is important to be present for the full program since the content builds, and you will be contributing to the same small group during the three days.
