Family & Bible Records

One of the indexes in the History & Genealogy hallway is to Bibles and other family records. There are about 25,000 transcribed entries that covers the 1600s to the early 1900s. The index points you to a collection of bound volumes that often give information on other members of the family. They indicate the original source, name of its owner and location at the time the material was deposited with the State Library.

We are excited to relate the bound volumes have recently been digitized by FamilySearch and you will find links to each of the 26 volumes, plus two index volumes in the pdf above!
