Cohort 2 Teams

Congratulations to these six library teams selected to participate in Cohort 2:

  3. Cranston Public Library, Cranston, RI
  4. East Hartford Public Library, East Hartford, CT
  5. University of Massachusetts Medical School, Lamar Soutter Library, Worcester, MA
  6. Westerly Library, Westerly, RI

Cohort 2 Program Dates

In-Person Training in Cranston, RI:
Cranston Public Library, 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd, Cranston, RI 02920
Attendance is mandatory for all participants.
September 11-13, 2018
November 6-8, 2018
February 5-7, 2019 

Tele-Coaching Conference Calls:
Teams will have a choice of two times each day to call in, 60-75 minutes each. Requires full team participation on all six dates.

Virtual Site Visit:
One-time virtual visit to each library, approx. 120 minutes each, time to be scheduled with each team on either December 6 or 7.

On-site Coaching at home libraries:
One-time in-person visit to each library, approx. three hours each, to be scheduled between May 13 and May 16. Requires full team participation.

Project implementation at home libraries:
February - August, 2019

Final reports due September 6, 2019.

Travel Information

Each team will be eligible for a grant of $2,000 to help cover travel and personnel expenses. This grant will be disbursed after the first training session.

The pdf above contains options for lodging and travel to the area.

Please note that you should plan on being at Cranston Public Library from 8:30-5:00 on the training days. Allow travel time for this schedule.
